Our Mission

Is to contribute to the creation of healthy, resilient, and highly impactful organisations by teaching and practicing the the art of conscious and courageous communication. We help leaders to use conflict and crisis as tools to foster greater connection within the human system of their business through a carefully designed process of deep facilitation and assisted dialogue- and in so doing reduce the likelihood of costs associated with stress, employee disengagement, legal process and negative PR.

By supporting leaders to front up to the conversations that are most needed, and then facilitating them at their side, we are helping to create businesses that are built on the principles of courage, compassion, trust, and diversity- businesses that are truly agile, flexible and highly competent in coping with the dynamic forces of our rapidly changing world. Conflict Resolution

Within the context of business, conflict can be viewed simply as opposing forces that obstruct the path to positive growth. These forces can manifest explicitly as highly charged disagreements with the potential for serious escalation, or implicitly, for example through gossip, contact avoidance, absenteeism or stress. No matter where your challenges sit on this spectrum, we can empower you to navigate the challenge effectively and confidently engage in the dialogue that is most needed to move forward.

Crisis Talks

There are times when the opportunity to leverage conflict is missed, and avoidance or lack of awareness of the problem leads to major escalation. Where workplace conflict results in legal action, unhealthy media exposure, controversial disciplinary process or loss of profit, the problem has become uncontained and much is at stake; avoidance is no longer an option. In The Room offers a safe container for you to confront the systemic issues which have created this crisis in order to refocus and rebuild, and for you to use the opportunity to redefine the future based on these lessons learned

Communication Coaching

Not all interpersonal tensions at work can be described as ‘conflict’ and yet the net effect of differing work-styles, personality types and cultural perspectives when underpinned by poor communication practices can be every bit as damaging. Underscoring our ethos at In The Room is the belief that the success of every business hinges on the ability of it’s members to understand each other deeply beyond surface differences, and such understanding is entirely reliant upon the quality of the communication. Our coaching service focuses on supporting leaders and executives to develop and embed these quality communication practices in order to create a culture of trust in which genius can thrive.
